North Wembley Community Seventh-day Adventist Church

Worship at North Wembley is a unique experience, We do not bar singing, instruments and dancing just as the Jewish people did not ban their use. Constantine in AD325 changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday and also banned singing, instruments and dancing in order to dissasociate the new christians from Judaism. 

Here at North Wembley we use singing with drums, piano and Hammond. Occasionally there is a saxophone and the electric guitar.
We greatly value hymns and while we may worship using them they can be worshipped in a traditional or contemporary style.

Women in our congregation take a full part in the life of the church. We have female elders, music directors and health promoters to name a few areas in which women excel.
